Not to sound like a total idiot but do you pronounce it "mee mee" or "mehm" or what? And what about it is ticking you off? I have no clue about memes but I do remember what it was to be punk and this was 1979 before it was retail. So I have to laugh about the punk analogy because -- and I'm showing my age here -- I don't think it's counter-culture, anymore. It's just a look.
