One of my favorite parts of this trip is driving around and within the Saggala Mountain range in the heart of the Kasigau Corridor. I will remember seeing these purple mountains etched into the Kenyan skyline wherever we went for the rest of my life.
This precious land is part of the Kasigau Corridor REDD+ Project. The innovative Audi supported carbon offset program is succeeding through a variety of economic triggers that incentivize the community to value and protect their environment.
